David Jones
DVMHometown. Dr. Jones grew up in Redmond but did some moving around to the midwest (Minnesota and Wisconsin), and then spent time practicing veterinary medicine in the warmer and sunnier climate of Hawaii before eventually making his way back here to Washington to join the VCA Bellevue Team in 2011. Education. Dr. Jones graduated from Redmond High School before obtaining his B.S. in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University, and then worked at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in veterinary microbiology research for seven years. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine where he also did a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. After doing general practice for five years, he then traveled to the University of Wisconsin for a residency in dentistry and oral surgery. Special Areas of Interest. Dr. Jones is very passionate about canine and feline oral health. He spent additional time doing a residency in this field so he could gain a higher level of skill and knowledge in this area. This allows him to be able to perform many advanced dental procedures and oral surgery beyond what can be performed at most veterinary hospitals. Dr. Jones is currently undergoing continuing education in the field of ultrasonography for more in depth imaging of the heart and abdominal organs. This will give him an additional non invasive way to gather information and help to diagnose patients. Hobbies. In his personal time Dr. Jones enjoys hiking, rock climbing, bicycling, attending and participating in dog shows and surfing (in his Hawaii days). Pets. Dr. Jones adores his 13 year old Australian Cattle dog named Zip. Together they have taken many first place ribbons at dog shows (in Zip's show days).

Holly Droske
DVMHometown. Dr. Droske came to the Pacific Northwest all the way from Texarcana, Texas. She and her husband are new to the area but they feel right at home here. Education. Dr. Droske attended the University of Texas at Austin for her B.A. in English. It was during this time she realized what she really wanted to do was care for animals. She attended Texas A&M University where she became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Special Areas of Interest. Before joining the VCA Bellevue team in 2012, Dr. Droske spent most of her time working in emergency medicine and critical care. She enjoys being able to work with these types of cases and strives to make sure that every patient receives the best care she can offer. She also enjoys feline internal medicine, cardiology and dermatology. Hobbies. Dr. Droske is a musician at heart. Not only does she love to play the guitar with her husband, she also plays the piano and she is currently a member of the Kirkland Choral Society and the Cascadian Chorale. She also reads and hikes in her spare time. Pets. Currently Dr. Droske shares her home with her 9 year old cat, Lolita. Favorite Quote. "Everything is not enough; and nothing is too much to bear."
